Lucien Lionel Barthe, Born in Paris, spent most of his life studying the beauty of the country side of his country, as an avid collector of antiques. His collection and his fond memories of the sun drenched country side of France have become the basis of his concept of home decor, as a function of the wonderful lifestyle the French are known for in the entire world.

The simplicity and utilitarian nature of his concept are the result of hand craftsmanship you can no longer find....So many items are nowadays sold as "hand-made" but are not really made by hand.. Lionel's proprietary and ancient production methods produce the colors, finishes, and charm he has become so well known for.
